It’s much less of a whirlwind experience now. All the important information is gathered before they arrive. Instead of rushing through history-taking, we’re actually left with time at the end to focus on what’s truly meaningful in the consultation, they got to ask more questions, which I thought was really good and that person then signed up for a 10 session physio and strength training package.Â
So doing a quick 5 min prep for the patient is a great help it ensures I know which areaâs to probe deeper for additional insights and speeds up whole assessment process.
Having the pre-assessment filled out gives me a detailed overview and idea compared to if it’s blind; it’s gonna take me longer.

Patients just want treatment ASAP; the less delay in providing treatment the better for gaining confidence and trust, so gotriage is critical in helping me provide lots of treatment in that first session and get buy-in to my treatment plan, ensuring they come back for more and enable me to help them achieve their aims & goals.
With the gotriage pre-assessment I’ve now got time for a lot more treatment in the session.
